Sometimes you don't know whether to envy peoples optimism or just be astonished by it. How did the people behind this music video for the Korean singer Ivy think that they would get away with such an obvious copy of a scene from Square Enix' Advent Children? Footage from the movie is in the lower right corner.



It has now been banned from being aired on TV by a South Korean court according to Japan Probe. But it's still on YouTube of course, where a lot of people like me who have never even heard about Ivy are checking it out to see the resemblance. The makers of this video are probably not incredibly optimistic after all, but incredibly smart.

Finally. This is how music should be sold online. You can tell just by their slogan 'We are not evil' that the new online store Magnatune are, well, not evil. You can listen to every song as much as you like before buying it by streaming it over the internet. If you finally decide to buy it you decide how much you want to pay from 5$ - 18$.
I think I would actually be willing to pay more when I get to choose the exact price by myself. I'd go from the state of mind of "I want to pay as little as possible'" to "I don't want seem cheap do I? and I really like this song."



And on top of that the store now also comes built in into the worlds best music player - Amarok. So that means it's now sort of like iTunes. Only - not evil.
