It's a little sad to read on
Kotaku that time is finally up for the Dreamcast, there wont be any more games released for it even in Japan. Sega's last console never truly made it over here and it's a shame. I must admit that my Dreamcast haven't been plugged in for quite some time now. But then there is truly stiff competition between AV-connectors to be connected to our TV.

Whenever I think about the Dreamcast I think about on of my favorite games for it:
Space Channel 5. It's one of the best music games there is and unlike many of them it doesn't require any extra musical equipment to play. Instead you control the space reporter Ulala's dance moves and musical ray gun with the controller to both dance and shoot in sync with the music. At the same time repeating after rhythmic instructions: 'up, up, down, down, left'.
What do you use her gun for? You use it to free humans from the evil aliens that force them to dance of course. And when the humans are finally free
you force them to dance as Ulala's background dancers and musicians instead. But there's not much else to be done, apparently the only way to defeat the aliens is to dance them to death. We are truly lucky that space is a place full of catchy tunes.
I'm thinking maybe the Xbox 360 connector will have to move out for a while and make some room for the Dreamcast.
